David Galbenski's entrepreneurial spirit has been a constant throughout his career. He founded Lumen Legal, a Michigan-based legal staffing company, in 1993, which he grew to national prominence before selling it to Lexitas Legal in 2020. Recognized for his entrepreneurial achievements, he was honored as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner and a two-time recipient of the Inc. 500 award. His leadership extended globally as the Global Chair of The Entrepreneurs’ Organization in 2008/09.
In 2022, Galbenski co-founded the Living Liver Foundation alongside his wife, Lynn, following his own experience with a liver transplant. He was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a rare autoimmune liver disease, in 2013. After being placed on the UNOS transplant list in 2019, he was fortunate to receive a living donor liver transplant from his brother-in-law, Mark Dybis, later that year. This transformative experience led him to focus on increasing awareness of living donor liver transplants and advocating for the rights and protection of living donors.
Since 1987, Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) has been the catalyst for entrepreneurs worldwide to learn, grow, and achieve their full leadership potential. We are a global community of nearly 20,000 members in more than 220 chapters and 80 countries. We are united by our passion for entrepreneurship and commitment to moving the world forward.
In EO, we support the whole entrepreneur in business and beyond because successful enterprises start with people. We connect entrepreneurs locally, then globally, encouraging members to bring their whole selves to a trusted community that creates growth and belonging for them and the people in their lives. This holistic approach includes our families and key executives because strong relationships and solid support systems are vital to any entrepreneur’s well-being.
